You have been counting the days until you finally get on that airplane or cruise. Like us, you are planning more about what to do than what to pack. Here are our top ten must-have for international travel.
Comfort: Pillow on bed

Comfort

1. Neck Pillows
For most, getting on the plane is exciting. It means that you are one step closer to your vacation. We like to think of it as sleep time. So don't forget that neck pillow! It'll prevent your head from hitting up against the window or worse, waking up to your head resting comfortably on a stranger.

2. Socks
We spend a lot of time in warmer destinations. So we understand the urge to wear your most stylish sandals or slides. We get it makes things a lot easier at the airport. But those airplanes can get quite cold. So grab your favorite fuzzy socks- your toes will thank you later.

*Bonus - Compression Socks are leg cramps' worst enemy. Don't be ashamed of slipping them on. Trust us it's better to be comfortable than to dance in pain.

3. Walking Shoes
We get it - vacation is the absolute best time to sport your best attire, and it will be one of the times you do the most site seeing. Our advice- find some cute walking shoes that go with that special vacation outfit.

Activities

4. Books - Games- Coloring Books & More
You know that point in the trip where you start tracking the plane, trying to figure out how long 1000 miles (1.6km) is? Boredom has hit! If you get tired of watching airplane movies and listening to the playlists, walk with something entertaining. Grab that book you promised to read for the last three months.

5. Snacks
Not all airlines give you a full meal. Depending on the length of your flight, you may be offered some light snacks- or in longer flights, a full meal. However those choices have their limits.

Grab your favorite snacks and stuff them in your carry and check on. You want to appreciate those beautiful sites without your stomach having a conversation with you.

Clothing

6. Umbrella
Rain - Rain - Please go away. Don't let the rain ruin your plans, pack a small umbrella. That's it.

7. Modest Clothing
Pack a variety of clothes if you are going to visit religious tourist attractions. We suggest researching before entering some buildings- Is it a church? Or a public building? Walk with a light sweater to cover up while you head indoors.
Phones being charged by portable charger

Appliances

8. Universal Travel Adapters
There is nothing sadder than not being able to charge your appliances or running to find a local tech store. Everywhere doesn't use the same charging plugs or wattage.

9. Portable Chargers
"How much battery do you have?" --If you are like us and like to take day trips- a portable charger is a must-have. You will not find a plug on that hike or on a long day at that secluded beach.

10. IDs
Don't forget your ID. Whether you are a student, veteran or an active military personnel discounts are universal. You can sometimes find discounts at museums or other local events.
